- As part of the Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Tourism Marketing course I'm required to undertake a work experience over the summer in tourism related organisation either paid or unpaid (240 hours if paid or 80 hours unpaid and 160 hours paid in any job)
- Over the last three years, studying HC in Business (Tourism) and BA (hons) Tourism Marketing I had developed the knowledge about attractions and services not only in Waterford City but also throughout the island of Ireland and gained skills which I always wanted to use on practice
- While living in Ireland for 10 years, I met people who are genuine, the community and the government that helped me to achieve certain goals in my life such as education (it is hard to achieve it being a single mother), and I feel that I have to give something back to the community.
This blog is all about my experience as a Volunteer Welcoming Ambassador of Waterford Viking Triangle.
