In this section, I want to explain the reasons why I decided to become a Volunteer Welcoming Ambassador of Waterford Viking Triangle:

1. As part of the Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Tourism Marketing course I'm required to undertake a work experience over the summer in tourism related organisation either paid or unpaid (240 hours if paid or 80 hours unpaid and 160 hours paid in any job)
2. Over the last three years, studying HC in Business (Tourism) and BA (hons) Tourism Marketing I had developed  the knowledge about attractions and services not only in Waterford City but also throughout the island of Ireland and gained skills which I always wanted to use on practice
3. While living in Ireland for 10 years, I met people who are genuine, the community and the government that helped me to achieve certain goals in my life such as education (it is hard to achieve it being a single mother), and I feel that I have to give something back to the community.
